Tom Yum Honey Glazed Carrots

Surprise your dinner-mates with this wholesome snack or side dish that packs a zing! Yet another unexpected way to use Mekhala’s Organic Tom Yum Paste to lace your cooking with Asian flavours.

Ingredients (Roasted Carrots):
(Serves 2-4 pax)
8 to 12 Dutch/rainbow/heirloom Carrots
Olive or other vegetable oil

Ingredients (Sauce):
(Serves 2-4 pax)
1 tsp honey
1 tsp Mekhala’s Organic Tom Yum Paste
1 tbsp olive or other vegetable oil
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tsp roasted white sesame seeds (Optional)


  1. Pre-heat oven to 375°F/190°C.
  2. Toss and coat carrots with olive or vegetable oil, and roast in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. Prepare the sauce by mixing the honey, Mekhala’s Organic Tom Yum Paste, olive or vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle sauce over roasted carrots.
  5. Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds to serve.Enjoy!
