Are you a fan of Japanese bento lunches? We can’t guarantee pretty, but we can definitely guarantee yummy. Using our new Plant-Based Starter Pack with Mekhala’s gluten-free Teriyaki sauce, this rice bowl will surely become your go-to.

Steamed Brown Rice
Vegetable Oil


  1. Rehydrate meatless crumbles by combining crumbles with 250ml hot water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Let sit for 5 minutes, then drain excess water.
  2. Stir-fry vegetables and tofu with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, then add meatless crumbles and fry till browned.
  3. Add the sachet of Teriyaki sauce, heat and stir through.
  4. Serve your steamed brown rice.
