Amazon Review –
I almost never say this, but this product is so good I want to buy more. The onions are beautifully crispy, and the sichuan hot pepper is not so spicy that you cant taste the onions. These are good enough to snack on right out of the bag. I am someone who loves hot and spicy foods, so I felt like the spice was fairly mild, comparable to fresh ground pepper. Had some on my salad today and it was a delicious crunchy kick. Highly recommended. Wish it was a larger bag, though.

No Harmful Ingredients!
Boy, when they said hot pepper, they weren’t kidding. You can truly taste almost every seasoning. The kick the onions gave were also strong. As a healthy snack, this was quite great since it didn’t have any harmful ingredients.

Crispy and fragrant!
I’ve sprinkled this on my fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, and other dishes. It’s crispy, with just the right amount of spice. At first, I felt that the crisps overwhelmed the tastes of the dishes, but I find myself using them more and more because it enhances any food I’m eating so much.
I’ve been using the mala-flavored crisps with fried rice and other noodles. The chili lime tastes good with tacos, tamales, and other South American-based flavors, and the umami blends well into most dishes, including stir-fried vegetables as well as meat and fish dishes.
I used to buy shallots fried in palm oil for the same purpose…glad there is a healthier option that does not use rancid palm oil that also destroys forests.
I hope they come up with an option with no flavoring so that we could better taste the onions.

Very tasty, Crispy Onions!
I had this with a chopped lettuce with peanuts, apples, peppers, and an Asian dressing (sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey). It added a little dimension with both crunch and savory. It was quite good.
I later had it with ramen and it was so good on top, adding that crunchiness and a little tang and heat. It was a tonkatsu broth, and the creaminess and the crunch together was amazing. I want to try it in a summer roll next!
These are very expensive, but they are worth it.

Tasty!
These are spicy but not super hot. The imparted flavor is interesting. I poured a fair amount into some miso soup that we made and thought it have the miso a nice punch/kick of flavor.
