Kid’s Tuna Sandwich

Want a simple, fun meal for your toddler? Can’t find any flavorful tuna sandwich recipes for kids? Our sweet and tangy Pumpkin Black Pepper Dressing is here to the rescue! Makes for a wholesome meal packed with avocado, tuna and corn.

Toddler-Friendly Tuna Sandwich with Avocado

Ingredients (Serves 1):

(Serves 1 Hungry Toddler)

  • 1x180gm Tin Dolphin Friendly Tuna in Spring Water
  • 1/2 cup Frozen Corn, Cooked and Cooled
  • 1/4 Japanese Cucumber, Chopped As Fine as Needed!
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 2 Tblspn Mekhala Pumpkin Black Pepper Dressing
  • 4 Slices of Multigrain Bread

Method:

  1. Drain tuna.
  2. Mash the avocado, then mix with all the other ingredients except the bread.
  3. Spread mixture over 2 slices of bread, then cover with the other 2 slices.
  4. Cut each breakfast tuna sandwich into 4 triangles and fit into the lunch box!
