Indian Gobi Matar Masala Recipe
Ingredients (Sauce/Marinade):
- 1.5lb/700gm Cauliflower and Peas
- 2 teaspoons Mekhala Organic Tikka Masala Paste
- 1.5 cup tinned tomatoes
- 0.5 cup thickened cream or coconut cream
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Cilantro or sliced chilies for garnish
Method:
- Our gobi matar masala recipe begins with browning cauliflower and peas in some vegetable oil on medium to high heat.
- Add Mekhala Organic Tikka Masala Paste, tinned tomatoes, and cream and stir to combine.
- Simmer on low heat till cooked (approximately 10 minutes).
- Garnish with cilantro and/or sliced chilies and serve hot with steamed rice.
The best thing about our Gobi Matar Masala recipe is it can be made with gravy as well. Just add a little water to the base and it’s ready!
