Spicy watermelon steaks? Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it! Pair this with a fresh salad for a truly refreshing snack.
Ingredients:
(Serves 2-4 pax)
4 watermelon ‘steaks’, roughly 3″ x 4″ x 1″ each
2 tsps Mekhala Organic Sichuan Mala Chilli Paste
Coconut oil
Pinch of salt
Method:

- Marinate the watermelon steaks with the Mekhala Organic Sichuan Mala Chilli Paste and a drizzle of coconut oil, and for about 30 minutes.
- Saute the watermelon steaks on a pan with some coconut oil until slightly caramelized.
- Season with salt and serve with a fresh salad.
