Protein-Packed Teriyaki Rice Paper Rolls
One of our favorite lunch and snack options just got refresh! Meatless textured pea protein crumbles from our new Plant-Based Starter Pack give these rolls a nice bite. Finished with a clean and yummy Teriyaki sauce that’s included in the pack. Ingredients: (Serves 2-4 pax) Mekhala Teriyaki Starter Pack Rice Paper Vegetables Julienne (Carrots, Flat Green Beans, Red Bell Pepper) Coriander Rice Noodles (Optional) Vegetable Oil Vegan mayo Method:
  1. Rehydrate meatless crumbles by combining crumbles with 250ml hot water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Let sit for 5 minutes, then drain excess water.
  2. Saute meatless crumbles with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  3. Save 2 tablespoons and add the rest of the sachet of Teriyaki sauce and stir through.
  4. Roll the meatless crumbles, vegetables, rice noodles, and coriander in the rice paper
  5. Add the saved 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce to some vegan mayo and stir well.
  6. Serve your rice paper rolls with vegan teriyaki mayo sauce.
