Basil Garlic Chicken Wings


These delicious wings are perfect for a party and will have your guests licking their fingers clean! You may also use chicken marylands, drumsticks or even a whole chicken in place of wings. Use any leftover meat (although we highly doubt you’ll have any!) in our Basil Garlic Roast Chicken, Potato and Bean Salad.



Serves 2-3 people

10 chicken wings, jointed

2 Tbsp Mekhala Basil Garlic Paste

1 Lemon, cut into wedges



  1. Marinate chicken wings in Basil Garlic Paste for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight, in the fridge.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 200°C.
  3. Roast wings for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Serve with salad and lemon wedges.
